‘Harvest of Gold’ Cover Design

Finally! The cover design for my next book is here. While there may be a few small adjustments, this is basically the cover for Harvest of Gold, the sequel to Harvest of Rubies, which will be available in July, 2013.

Harvest of Gold is a love story. But at its core, it is also a novel about overcoming in the midst of battle. Jerusalem is under attack. The king’s life is threatened. Darius and Sarah’s marriage is slowly unraveling. How will they survive the onslaught of so many enemies? How will they endure the grave pressures of life? How will they overcome?

Harvest of Gold is set against the background of the Book of Nehemiah and the rebuilding of Jerusalem. As always, the best way to study the Bible is not through a novel, but simply to read the original. This story can in no way replace the transformative power that the reader will encounter in the Scriptures. For the biblical account of the rebuilding of Jerusalem, please refer to the books of Ezra and Nehemiah.

I hope you will enjoy Sarah and Darius’s continued adventures, which began with Harvest of Rubies. After so many years of working with them, they feel like old friends to me.

I can hardly wait for Harvest Of Gold. I have been excited since I read the Harvest Of Rubies then the excerpt last year. I really appreciate the recipes too! Thank you so much. The first book I read was Pearl In The Sand. It put some real life perspective to some of the issues women might have coming from a background like Rahab.Again thank you so much.
